ARCHAEOLOGY, MYTHS AND SELF-HELING IN THE NATURAL PARKS OF "PORTOSELVAGGIO"
The park is large 1.122 hectares, 300 of pinewood and 7 km of high and uncontaminated coast. It includes three Sites of Community Interest, "Torre Uluzzo", "Torre Inserraglio" and "Palude del Capitano", and several areas of historical, archeological, paleontological and natural interest with coast towers and submerged caves. A naturalistic walk through the suggestive Aleppo pinewood and large Mediterreanmaquis to the wonderfull bay of Portoselvaggio with the possibility of sunbathing in a natural swimmingpool where flow old subterrean rivers. Their water has a powerfull energy of wellness.
PALUDE DEL CAPITANO
In the "Palude del Capitano" you can find an interesting karsticphenomenons with resorgences full of brackish water called "Spunnulate".
Possibility of birdwatching near the big "spunnulata" and aroma-therapy with spontaneous plants.
Visit to farms where you can taste typical products.
A DAY SPENT IN CONTACT WITH THE MARINE WORLD AND WITH THE WET ENVIRONMENT IN SALENTO: FENS, SALTPANS AND GARRIGUES
The surface of the "Protected Marine Area " of Porto Cesareo is of 16.654 hectares with a coast long 32 km. Important are the corals formations, seaweeds and marine sponge which colour the seabed, perfect for immersions and submarine photography. Boat ride to study the marine ecosystems and analyse the seabed. .
CHILDREN AND NYMPHS HILL
This is an itinerary through a mysterious and magic land, linked to myths and old legends through secular olive trees, to discover the holy stones at the "Boys and Nymphs hill". Huge natural creation and "salentini" megalith "Dolmen, Menhir, Tumulus" raised up to the sky by men during prehistoric Ages.
These are holy monuments where Nature emits therapeutic and auto-healing energy.
